Fabrication ALIT Manager (Level K) Company: The Boeing Company Boeing Commercial Airplanes Fabrication Engineering Integration is seeking a Fabrication ALIT Manager (Level K) to lead the team that defines, and drives, change management across Fabrication. This position is based in Auburn, WA. Position Overview: The Fabrication Engineering Integration team is the hub for collaboration across five capabilities and 21 business units spanning Puget Sound, Oregon, Montana, Utah, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Canada, the United Kingdom and Australia. As the First Line Manager, you will be pivotal in architecting and executing a new, scalable strategy for Change Management across Fabrication. You will establish a high‑level view of the engineering‑change ecosystem—covering program‑driven changes, Fabrication‑initiated changes, and future technical capabilities emerging from Boeing Research & Technology (BR&T) and Product Development. In this role you will translate that vision into measurable milestones, communicate tradeoffs and progress to senior and executive leadership, and own the tactical execution needed to improve change governance, traceability, and first‑time quality across the Fabrication footprint. To achieve this, you will collaborate with functional organizations (SEIT/Business Operations/Digital Engineering/Supply Chain Engineering) to implement enhancements to overall Boeing change management processes/tools. A successful candidate will have demonstrated experience in the following attributes: Translating strategy into clear team plans and reliably owning delivery against milestones. Coaching and developing individuals. Implementing new initiatives and improving team practices to increase quality, throughput, and first‑time yield. Building and maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders. Using standard project artifacts (schedules, risk/issue logs, status updates) to surface risks early, drive mitigation, and escalate when needed. Executing engineering change management activities at the team level, ensuring configuration control and traceability of revisions.
