Requirements

High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required, or in process of completion with a minimum of six months of manufacturing or production experience, including Prinsco experience.
Effective communication skills with the ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram forms.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Forklift experience preferred with the ability to achieve a forklift certification.
Ability to lift up to 25 pounds consistently, 50 pounds 1/3 of the day, & 75 pounds less than 1/3 of the day.
Using hands and reaching with hands/arms for over 2/3 of the workday.
Standing, walking, climbing, or balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling for over 2/3 of the workday.
Distance vision (clear vision at 20 feet or more), peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to differentiate colors.
Ability to work in a production environment that is not temperature controlled and occasionally in varying outdoor weather conditions.
Ability to work in a loud noise environment.

Responsibilities

Fabricate high‑quality standard and custom fittings using engineering drawings and a variety of equipment with different sizes and levels of complexity.
Read and interpret technical drawings and verbal instructions to determine precise dimensions while maintaining Prinsco’s quality standards.
Operate power tools safely and efficiently, including band saws, extrusion welders, and radial arm drills.
Use a forklift to transport materials and completed products to designated locations.
Collaborate with experienced team members to ensure accurate production and problem‑solving.
Inspect finished products to verify they meet Prinsco quality requirements, promptly identifying and reporting defects or equipment issues.
Maintain accurate, real-time production reporting as required.
Support and assist teammates across the department when needed.
Participate in cross‑training and continuous learning, developing skills in machine operation, computer systems, and documentation.
Engage actively in Continuous Improvement (CI) initiatives to enhance processes and productivity.
Perform additional duties as assigned to support the team and production goals.
