As a FABLOCK Setup & Operator you'll be part of our team located in Montpelier, IN.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Effective written and oral communication skills
  • Interpret instructions furnished in written, oral, diagrammatic or schedule form
  • Apply principles of rational systems to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
  • Follows appropriate housekeeping procedures according to company guidelines
  • Ability to operate a torque wrench and/or machines.
  • Basic mathematical understanding and ability (add, subtract, divide units of measurement)
  • Practical application of proportion and geometric construction
  • Organized -ability to maintain orderly work stations and tool crib area

Responsibilities

  • Make Set ups on machines, and check end results visually and with test.
  • Make needed adjustments and assist in filling large hoppers.
  • Perform torque tests as required.
  • Install tooling in machines, set –up and maintain all machines.
  • Works closely with Engineering on prototype parts when needed.
  • Operates machines as needed
  • Operates PIV as needed
  • Trouble shoot machinery and quality issues
  • Notify supervisor to purchase tooling, and machine repair parts as required
  • Obtains approvals from QC on all PPAP parts when Lead is not available
  • Follows appropriate housekeeping procedures according to guidelines.
  • Ability to work overtime as needed
  • Performs all other duties as assigned.
