The FAB Scaler position is responsible for prioritizing and organizing the make sheet with available cattle to fulfill product orders. This role involves directing the Chain Feed Person to ensure the correct grade cattle are processed and documenting all relevant operational metrics, including downtime and product changes.

Prioritize and organize the make sheet with available cattle to fill product orders.
Direct the Chain Feed Person to put the correct grade cattle on the chain and in the right amount.
Document all floor downtime by time lost, when, and reason.
Keep track of all product changes and notify affected supervisors of each product change.
Keep track and record all grade and program cattle changes.
Keep track of the amount of cattle cut daily and record.
Verify and document start and shift end times.
Verify cattle temperatures coming into Fabrication and documentation.
Assure all cut codes are in the system correctly.
Complete all end of shift paperwork and verify it is sent to interested parties.

Ability to prioritize and organize tasks effectively.
Strong documentation skills for tracking cattle and product changes.
Attention to detail in verifying temperatures and cut codes.
Ability to communicate effectively with supervisors and team members.

Experience in a fabrication or processing environment.
Knowledge of cattle grading and processing standards.
