About The Position
The FAA Production Technical Operator 5 position involves performing complex tasks guided by diverse procedures and technical methods. The role requires considerable judgment and initiative in problem-solving and decision-making, with the potential impact extending beyond the immediate work unit. The incumbent will work under general supervision and may provide functional guidance to others. Responsibilities include assembly, testing, disassembly, analysis, repair, and rework of aircraft components in support of FAA Repair Station, along with operating automated assembly equipment and performing inspections.
