1) PROCESS DEVELOPMENT: The FA Engineer will be responsible for developing and improving the testing and failure analysis process of each defective good that needs to have a functional test done in the Service Center (RMA parts from DC and other parts from the internal MRB process). The FA Engineer also advises on requirements to support the Test Engineering team in building testing capability for different parts, modules, and assemblies. 2) EDUCATION: The FA Engineer is responsible for educating system technicians on all related testing and the FA process. 3) REPORTING: The FA Engineer will be responsible for creating a functional part of failure reports and supply root cause analysis together with the QA MRB team. FA Engineer is also responsible for following the quantity of tested parts and analyse the failure rate. Check KPI-s like SNR ( 2nd Return) and NTF (No Trouble Found). Advise actions for improvement.
