About The Position

Wealth Management Finance - FA Comp Controller We're seeking someone to join our Wealth Management FA Comp team as an Associate in Finance to support Field Management in calculating, reviewing and processing the variety of compensation payments to our Finance Advisors. In the Finance division, we act as a partner to business units around the globe by providing management, review, analysis and advisory services of the Firm's financial and capital resources. This is an Associate level position within the Sales Compensation job family. What you'll do in the role: - Collaborate with a varied group of colleagues in Finance and across the Firm - Responsible for both individual and team deliverables and projects, leveraging knowledge of Finance functional area, tools and/or products - Adhere to the Firm's risk and regulatory standards, policies and controls - Act as a culture carrier; embody the Firm's values and hold yourself accountable to Firm standards - You have worked against challenging stakeholders and/ or deadlines to deliver positive results - You have a demonstrated ability to support multiple projects, manage expectations and complete deliverables in a timely manner with exceptional attention to detail What you'll bring to the role: - Advanced understanding of Finance functional area, product and/or client segment and technical skills, as well as of industry and competitive environment - Ability to provide positive and constructive - Feedback and acknowledge efforts of team members - Ability to articulate risk and impact to various audiences, and create plans to mitigate those risks - You have a BS/BA degree with Finance and/or Accounting experience required - You have 0-5 years post-college experience in the financial services industry - You are a strong written and verbal communicator, and able to adapt to your audience - You are proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel - You are keen to collaborate and build relationships with a wider team - You are motivated by accountability, and look forward to delivering positive results - You are able to analyze information and present it back within an agreed timeline - You are excited by building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders - You will be able to maintain a strong sense of organization and time management skills - You are a keen multi-tasker and use a high-paced environment to your advantage - You are willing to observe process and disrupt it in order to prioritize the team's efficiency What you can expect from Morgan Stanley: We have a track record of innovation and passion for unlocking new opportunities, we help our clients raise, manage and allocate capital. Requirements
