The Global Logistics and Support Equipment Readiness (GLaSER) organization is looking for an individual to fill the position of F135 Support Equipment (SE) Control Account Manager (CAM). Support Equipment is material required to keep a system operational in its specific environment which includes repair, overhaul, and testing. SE encompasses non-complex SE, Test Cell, Eddy Current Inspection (ECI), and Packaging, Handling, Storage, & Transportation (PHS&T). The CAM role supports all the technical functions within the value stream of SE. The role is a great opportunity for empowerment, ownership, and execution of SE requirements critical to the F135 program. This position will be responsible for end-to-end analysis and reporting of program cost, schedule, and technical implementation supporting the finance, program management, and technical professionals. This role will require use of the Earned Value Management System (EVMS) to control program performance and profitability. The position will require collaboration, strategic thinking, and business innovation. The selected candidate must have the ability to integrate across multiple functional organizations and must be able to communicate effectively.

  • Manage SE Level 5 Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) in accordance with Pratt & Whitney’s EVMS monthly business rhythm, including but not limited to; calculating Estimates to Complete (ETC), processing Budget Change Requests (BCR), performing monthly status, and preparing cost and/or schedule variance analyses as needed.
  • Demonstrate active risk management by identifying risks and opportunities as well as develop mitigation strategies to cost and/or schedule.
  • Drive Earned Value Management System (EVMS) compliance to contract requirements and ensure on-time deliverables are met.
  • Support program level reviews including but not limited to; Comprehensive Estimate at Complete (CEAC) reviews, Integrated Baseline Reviews (IBRs), and Schedule Risk Assessments (SRAs).
  • Collaborate with the Business Acquisition Center of Excellence (BACE) to develop Basis of Estimates (BOEs) for upcoming USG contracts to meet the needs of the business and drive strategic initiatives from proposal development, negotiations, and into baselining the work.
  • Collaborate with technical SMEs and other cross functional organizations (EVAR, PP&S, PMO) to accurately manage status of labor and material tasks
  • Drive project management principles.
  • Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years prior relevant experience, OR, advanced degree with 3+ years of prior relevant experience required.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen.
  • This position may require access to systems/tools that are restricted to individuals who possess US citizenship.
  • Degree in Finance/Accounting, operations or similar.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Demonstrated application of CORE principles/tools.
  • Earned Value or project management related experience.
  • SAP experience.
  • Experience in EV Tool Suite: Oracle Primavera P6, Dassian, wInsight, WebEVM, Empower.
  • Key understanding of USG contracts.
