Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • 10 years of aerospace, logistics, or maintenance experience or an advanced degree with 7 years of aerospace, logistics, or maintenance experience.

Nice To Haves

  • Advanced degree in Business, Engineering or Aerospace Logistics.
  • F135 or other Military Engines maintenance experience.
  • Familiar with engine overhaul & repair processes, engine hardware, assembly, operation, and testing.
  • CORE Champion or related total quality management system experience.

Responsibilities

  • Implement functional depot-level maintenance planning for the F135 Enterprise.
  • Drive digital solutions to grow efficiencies & quality in tactical execution of workscoping on file orders.
  • Drive cross-functional awareness with respect to emerging hardware issues as surfaced by file orders.
  • Lead a team of 8 Powerplant Engineers.
  • Manage technical problems of advanced complexity that require resolution via coordination across the F135 Enterprise.
  • Drive reduction of non-preventable file order revisions via cross-functional collaboration across the F135 Enterprise.
  • Partner with Depot Program Management to establish strong relationships with F135 Propulsion Service Providers.
  • Lead Continuous Improvement (CORE) key process maturity and improvement efforts at the enterprise level.
