Just look up. Are you ready to go beyond? Pratt & Whitney is seeking a qualified candidate for the F135 Fleet Readiness team. The Fleet Readiness team sustains the pulse of the fleet with robust planning, communication, and execution that achieves availability > 94% Propulsion Fully Mission Capable. The team ensures contract support is in place and develops enterprise wide fleet management plans to mitigate routine, emerging, and safety issues.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 8 years of experience in Logistics, Engineering, or Fleet Management or An advanced degree with 5 years of Logistics, Engineering, or Fleet Management experience
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance

Nice To Haves

  • Proficiency with Enterprise and Material Resource Planning (ERP/MRP) applications
  • Experience in Product Support Analysis, Integrated Logistics Support, Technical Publications, PyRITS, Teamcenter, MXI, Business Objects, forecasting tools, and Engineering Information Systems
  • Understanding of F135 configuration management and the impact each modification has on the engine/module
  • Self-starter with a desire to solve complex problems

Responsibilities

  • Have a lasting impact on the F135 engine to support warfighter objectives across the globe for decades by injecting sound logistics into changes and upgrades so that they are fieldable via Time Compliance Technical Directives
  • Review Key Performance Indicators to identify top degraders to Propulsion System readiness and develop corrective action plans to address degraders
  • Integrate Engineering & Logistics disciplines within the Supportability IPT and throughout the gated process
  • Support Engineering Changes by developing supportable implementation strategies. Work with the Joint Program Office on incorporation plans based on material availability and fleet execution
  • Lead Fleet Management Plan development for items identified for retrofit through the Component Improvement Program
