About The Position
This position is for a Principal Engineer, Systems Requirements & Integration engineering professional. Requirements Integration is an exciting discipline that covers a broad range of responsibilities. Pratt & Whitney F135 Engine Design & Systems Integration Team is looking for a System Requirements Engineer for the design, development, and certification of the F135 Engine Core Upgrade (ECU). The Requirements Engineer is responsible for all aspects of integration with the technical teams for requirements analysis & definition, and system verification & validation. System Requirements integrates the propulsion system design across the engine: systems, and modules; as well as engineering disciplines, module technical teams, and the external customer; and provides support throughout the complete engine product life cycle. Selected candidate will work directly with our internal and external customer and will gain knowledge of engine operation and air vehicle operation; and have opportunities to experience engine and flight testing.
