Admiral Beverage is seeking a Quality Control Technician to join our team in Worland, Wyoming. This role is crucial in ensuring that our production line adheres to the highest quality standards and complies with all food safety and corporate guidelines. The Quality Control Technician will perform a variety of chemical and physical analyses to monitor product quality throughout the production process. This position requires a keen attention to detail and the ability to problem-solve quickly in high-pressure situations, as the technician will be exposed to a dynamic production facility environment that includes loud machinery, moving parts, and potentially hazardous chemical compounds and fumes. The technician will be responsible for selecting test samples of closures, containers, labels, and packages from production lines according to established procedures. This includes measuring dimensions with scales and micrometers, conducting abrasion tests, measuring hardness and bursting strength, and testing the wet and dry tearing strengths of labels and cartons. Additionally, the technician will weigh filled containers to ensure they meet volume specifications and check the quality of all raw materials and finished goods that enter and leave the plant. All test results must be recorded accurately, and the technician will prepare graphs and charts to present these findings. Compliance with Food Safety and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) training is mandatory, and the technician must demonstrate ongoing compliance.
