The F&SCM Sr. Consultant plays a large role in supporting customers in designing and implementing the heart of their business. This role will take a lead role in improving processes, streamlining financial systems, and can translate tech speak into human speak. This role will be working with our clients to optimize financial operations, configure systems, and keep things running smoothly. Requirements

  • 5+ years or more experience with Microsoft Dynamics AX/D365 F&SCM
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to work in a high-paced environment and manage multiple projects.
  • Substantial AX/D365 F&SCM experience within the areas of finance.
  • Experience interfacing with end-users and gathering business requirements.
  • Ability to build strong client relationships and articulate how Dynamics AX/D365 F&SCM can add value to their business.
  • Experience designing and coordinating multiple AX/D365 F&O full cycle deployments.
  • Strong WMS Experience
  • Experience on multiple successful implementations both on-site and remote.
  • Strong organizational skills.

  • Dynamics AX/D365 F&O certifications recommended.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with clients' finance teams to understand their unique business needs and pain points.
  • Gather detailed requirements and craft tailored solutions that streamline their processes.
  • Proactively ask questions that uncover pain points and demonstrate the value add of an ERP system.
  • Configure ERP systems, specifically WMS modules.
  • Customize workflows and reports to fit each client’s business model, ensuring smooth integration with their supply chain operations.
  • Lead the implementation of WMS modules from start to finish, including initial scoping, system setup, testing, and go-live support.
  • Ensure the system is not just running, but exceeding expectations.
  • Analyze existing operations and identify areas for improvement.
  • Propose solutions and an implementation plan that enhances efficiency, reduces costs, and supports financial planning, forecasting, and reporting processes.
  • Provide training sessions for finance teams to ensure they are comfortable and confident using their new systems.
  • Offer ongoing support to troubleshoot issues, answer questions, and optimize system performance as the business grows.
  • Mentor other consultants and provide knowledge and guidance on best practices.
  • Oversee the migration of financial data from legacy systems to new platforms.
  • Ensure data accuracy and integrity throughout the process and beyond.
  • Design and build customized reports, dashboards, and analytics tools that provide clients with real-time insights into their business performance.
  • Work closely with the project manager to ensure deadlines are being met, hours allocation for tasks are within your abilities, and client satisfaction remains high.
  • Continuously monitor updates and new features in F&SCM and financial technologies.
  • Act as the go-to expert for the latest and greatest in ERP trends and advancements, always looking for ways to improve offerings.
  • Work with other consultants and departments (e.g., supply chain and production teams) to ensure seamless integration across all business functions.
