Responsibilities

  • Perform all rate quotations and acquire approval from finance sources on all finance deals.
  • Maintain current files of active insurance and financial agencies.
  • Maintain a Finance and Insurance logbook and monthly penetration reports.
  • Devise methods and establish procedures for timely completion of sales-related paperwork.
  • Scrutinize all paperwork for errors and ensure accuracy.
  • Maintain budget and internal controls with a reliable accounting system.
  • Set and achieve monthly sales objectives and goals.
  • Provide reports as requested.
  • Maintain and expand skills and knowledge through ongoing education.
  • Recruit and maintain a healthy market base for finance and insurance products.
  • Use effective problem-solving skills to review departmental activities.
  • Create and maintain positive working relationships with finance sources and other departments.
  • Sell insurance, finance, and extended service programs to customers.
  • Support the sales team and assist in the Automobile Sales Department as needed.
  • Encourage staff to provide quality customer service and handle complaints courteously.
  • Utilize vehicle delivery to enhance customer loyalty.
  • Establish a quality evaluation program to assure extraordinary service.
  • Use follow-up methods to contact customers and promote additional sales.

Requirements

  • Valid state insurance license.
  • Experience with F&I product sales or ability to learn product information efficiently.
