About The Position

The F&B Support Staff position at Cahuilla Casino Hotel involves providing essential service in all aspects of food and beverage operations. Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Ability to stand for an entire 8-hour shift.
  • Ability to read and speak English fluently.
  • Ability to carry out tasks with limited supervision.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Professional appearance and positive attitude.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Ability to handle money accurately and operate a point-of-sale system.
  • Knowledge of proper sanitation and food handling procedures.

Nice To Haves

  • Food Handlers Certificate required.
  • Tips Certificate preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Greet guests as they approach the restaurant and escort them to their table or waiting area.
  • Ensure that empty tables are ready to receive new guests.
  • Remove dirty dishes, sanitize tables, clean seats, and sweep or vacuum the surrounding floor after a party departs.
  • Serve food and beverages as needed.
  • Maintain sanitization standards and check under tables for crumbs or litter.
  • Set and re-set tables, fill and clean condiments as needed.
  • Assist fellow team members with guest services and serve water, refilling glasses when necessary.
  • Assist staff with trash removal and cleaning up spills.
  • Provide accurate wait time estimates during busy periods and assign guests to tables while maintaining a consistent table rotation.
  • Maintain knowledge of the menus and answer phone calls with proper etiquette.
  • Communicate guest complaints to F&B Leadership and assist in resolving them.
