The Food & Beverage Supervisor must have complete knowledge of legal requirements including but not limited to labor laws, health and safety requirements and liquor laws including gaming regulations as they apply to the food and beverage operation. Responsibility to coordinate food and liquor service activities for the bars and restaurants, and to forecast food and beverage needs. The Food & Beverage Supervisor controls all cleaning and maintenance of equipment and fixtures on a daily basis, arranges for repairs, and other services for all bar and restaurant outlets. Investigates and resolves food and beverage quality and service complaints. Inspects bars and restaurants on a daily basis to ensure cleanliness. Directs hiring, scheduling, training, motivation, appraising, and terminating of personnel. Review financial information such as sales and costs and will also monitor budget to ensure profitability while exceeding guest expectations. Be TIPS certified and practice this knowledge on a daily basis.
