About The Position

This full-time F&B Supervisor position at Dragon Tiger Casino offers a $1000 sign-on bonus, paid in two installments after 90 and 180 days of employment, provided the team member is in good standing. The role involves maintaining professional restaurant standards, supervising and coordinating front-of-house staff activities, and ensuring high-quality food and beverage presentation. Key responsibilities include preparing schedules, motivating team members, implementing and maintaining guest service standards, conducting monthly inventories, and overseeing cost controls. The supervisor is also responsible for ensuring safety standards are followed, constantly monitoring team member performance, and resolving guest issues. Duties may extend to food preparation, noodle making, and cashier tasks as needed. Candidates should have previous food and beverage experience, including front and back-of-house operations, and ideally supervisory experience. The position requires flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and holidays, and the ability to work at multiple casino properties.

Requirements

  • Previous Food and Beverage experience and knowledge.
  • Proven working experience in a front and back of house food service operation.
  • Blood borne pathogens training and TIPS training certification.
  • Ability to manage Supervisors in F&B as well as line-level team members.
  • Ability and willingness to work at both the Central City and Black Hawk properties.
  • Must be flexible to work and schedule including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Fluent in English, has ability to speak, read and write.
  • Computer literate in Word and Excel and familiarity with restaurant management software.
  • Strong leadership, motivational, and people skills.
  • Ability to stand and walk for duration of shift.
  • Knowledge of applicable local state and federal health and safety regulations.
  • Compute basic math calculations.
  • Acute financial management skills.
  • Knowledge of Point of Sale (POS) system.
  • Perform job functions with attention to detail, speed and accuracy.
  • Demonstrate excellent customer service skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and organize work.
  • Resolve problems using good judgment.
  • Must be able to direct performance of team members and follow-up with corrections needed.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain the restaurant areas to ensure professional image.
  • Supervise and coordinate activities of front of house staff.
  • Inspect food and beverage presentation to maintain quality standards.
  • Prepare schedules and adjust staffing levels on a regular basis, as needed.
  • Motivate and encourage team members.
  • Ensure that guest service standards are implemented and maintained, train team members and constantly reinforce Company philosophy.
  • Complete monthly inventories and complete all required paperwork.
  • Oversee and ensure all cost controls are in place, and all food and beverage items are rung in and accounted for.
  • Use all equipment in accordance with all safety standards and ensure all team members follow the same safety standards.
  • Constantly monitor team member performance ensuring that all procedures are carried out to departmental standards; rectify any deficiencies with respective team members in accordance with Company policies.
  • Maintain the highest commitment to internal and external guest service standards and resolutions of guest issues.
  • Supervise Leadership as well as Front-of-House food team members.
  • Duties may include food prep, noodle making and front of house cashier duties as required by labor levels
