About The Position

The F&B Receiving Admin ensures efficient and accurate management of food and beverage goods arriving at Sun Valley Resorts shipping and receiving facility. This includes maintaining inventory records and ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards. The role supports the F&B and procurement teams by ensuring smooth operations in the receiving area.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in the food & beverage industry, preferably in receiving or related administrative roles
  • High school diploma or GED certificate
  • Knowledge of inventory management systems and purchasing processes
  • Attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Proficiency in all computer-based operations, functions and programs, such as Excel, Word, Outlook, and other MS Office applications
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure
  • Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and nights
  • Engage in physical activities like standing for long periods, walking, and utilizing hands for tasks that involve gripping, handling, and reaching
  • Can safely lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the receiving process for all incoming food and beverage items
  • Inspect deliveries for quality, quantity, and adherence to purchase orders and specifications
  • Check product weights and quality, store perishable items in appropriate areas at proper locations
  • Maintain food and beverage stockrooms through organizing, cleaning, and cataloging items
  • Monitor the condition of goods, checking for damage, spoilage, or incorrect items
  • Maintain accurate records of all received goods using inventory management systems
  • Update, audit, and manage documentation such as delivery receipts, purchase orders, and invoices
  • Prepare reports on inventory levels, discrepancies, and supplier performance
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, hygiene regulations, and environmental management
