About The Position

The F&B IHOP Cook at Lucky Eagle Casino is responsible for preparing, seasoning, and cooking food items while adhering to food safety standards. This role involves ensuring high-quality food service, maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen, and following established recipes and cooking methods under the direction of the Head Cook.

Requirements

• Minimum six months experience as a cook.
• Professional training through culinary education preferred.
• Ability to follow established recipes and cooking methods.
• Strong communication skills in English, both written and oral.

Nice To Haves

• Spanish or other language skills are a plus.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, season, and cook food items according to standardized recipes.
• Ensure compliance with food safety standards and regulations.
• Provide high-quality, fresh food items in a timely manner.
• Maintain a sanitized and organized work station throughout the shift.
• Control food production, including cooking methods and temperatures.
• Label and date food items in refrigeration and rotate stock appropriately.
• Organize and clean refrigerated and dry storage areas.
• Monitor food costs and minimize waste during food preparation.
• Prepare food for special events and catering when assigned.
• Report any injuries and follow proper sanitation guidelines.
