F&B- Houseperson General Position Summary: Responsible for achieving and maintaining an exceptional level of cleanliness throughout the meeting rooms Essential Functions/Major Responsibilities: Approaches all guest encounters utilizing the spectacular service standards Responsible to perform labor intensive room set-up consistent with the details outlined in the banquet event order Cleans furniture, fixtures and equipment located in the meeting room spaces Prepares table to include linen, banquet and bar equipment and is responsible for chair placement Assists in placement of dance floor, staging and assorted presentation requirements Immediately notifies management of damage or potentially hazardous situations in an effort to minimize guest incidents Secondary Functions: May assist in room preparation to include vacuuming, sweeping and dusting May be asked to assist in the organization of linen, glassware etc. Effectively manages time in an effort to stay within the event schedule Maintains confidentiality of all guests Other duties as assigned
