About The Position

Join the team at Keller’s Flea Market, where great food and great people come together every weekend. We are looking for a dependable and hardworking Cook to support our concessions operations and help deliver high-quality food and excellent service to our guests. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced kitchen, takes pride in food preparation, and values teamwork.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age
1–2 years of kitchen or food service experience preferred
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
Positive attitude and strong work ethic
Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks

Nice To Haves

ServSafe Certification preferred or willingness to obtain

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook food using fryers, grills, stovetops, and other kitchen equipment
Accurately fill and complete orders provided by cashiers
Prepare food items including assembling trays, portioning ingredients, and prepping items such as vegetables, meats, and condiments
Ensure all food is cooked to proper temperature and quality standards
Set up and stock workstations with necessary supplies
Maintain inventory levels of cups, utensils, napkins, condiments, and other supplies
Clean, stock, and maintain kitchen and guest service areas
Wash, peel, chop, and prepare food ingredients
Handle, store, and organize food items properly
Ensure all food is prepared and served in a timely and consistent manner
Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health department regulations
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all times
Properly dispose of waste and maintain cleanliness of operating areas
Complete opening and closing duties
Work collaboratively with team members and maintain a positive, professional attitude
