About The Position

Our purpose is to provide a fun, friendly and hospitable experience for all our guests. We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Cocktail Server to join our team. The Cocktail Server’s responsibilities will include serving our guests efficiently, learning about our menu items, answering customer queries, and ensuring that the bar area is clean and well-stocked. The ideal candidate is attentive and committed to providing excellent customer service.

  • Applicant must obtain training in food safety and responsible beverage service of the Casino’s choosing.

  • Ability to effectively present information and response to questions from managers, customers, and the general public effectively and courteously.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide into all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.
  • Ability to compute rates, ratios and percentages.
  • Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, verbal or diagram form.
  • Must have the ability to deal with problems, which may involve several concrete variables.
  • The individual is also regularly required to bend; stand; walk; sit; and use hand/eye coordination.
  • The Individual must be able to lift at least 30 pounds.
  • The individual may be required to stand for up to 8 hours.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
  • The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud.
  • When on the Casino floor, the noise level increases to loud.
  • The individual must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and constantly keep customer satisfaction as their first priority.
  • The Casino is a smoking environment, and the team member must be able to work in a smoke-filled atmosphere.
  • This position requires availability to work on weekends and holidays.
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.

Responsibilities

  • Welcome and direct our Guests as they arrive
  • Take orders and serve drinks
  • Check identification to verify legal age requirements for all customers
  • Inspect and Test currency to avoid accepting counterfeit bills
  • Host the Guest Experience with thoughtful and personal table management
  • Communicate with customers to ensure satisfaction and discuss additional orders
  • Accept and post payments with special attention paid to accurately transacting Tier Resort Benefit Card discounts for our Players.
  • Promote venue specials, promotions and events
  • Assist with expediting food and drink orders
  • Follow all applicable laws and regulations regarding alcohol service and safety procedures, including ID verification, responsible service, and maintaining a safe environment.
