This role will be located at one of Discovery Land Company’s locations: Homewood Mountain Resort, set on the West Shore of Lake Tahoe in Homewood, California. Homewood is seeking a F&B Club Attendant to join the Food & Beverage Department. Job Summary: The Food & Beverage Club Attendant is a hands-on, high-energy role responsible for delivering service across multiple outlets, including comfort stations, bar service, table service, and support positions. This role requires the ability to move quickly between responsibilities, support the team wherever needed, and maintain a strong presence on the floor during high-volume service periods. This is not a single-position role - success in this position comes from adaptability, urgency, and a willingness to step in wherever the operation needs support. The ideal candidate is service driven, reliable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where priorities shift throughout the day.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in food and beverage service preferred (server, bartender, busser, or similar role)
  • Basic knowledge of food service, bar operations, and guest service standards
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and composure
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team
  • Ability to work independently while maintaining clear communication with team members
  • Comfortable working in a high-volume, fast-moving environment with minimal supervision
  • Positive attitude with a willingness to step into multiple roles as needed
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and adapt quickly based on business levels
  • Must be dependable, punctual, and maintain a strong work ethic
  • Current Food Handler certification (or ability to obtain prior to start date)
  • Responsible Beverage Service (RBS) certification (or ability to obtain prior to start date)
  • Must be 21+ years of age
  • Professional demeanor with strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Must be able to work flexible hours including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays; long hours may be required based on business demand
  • Ability to stay calm and focused during high-volume service periods
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
  • Ability to meet the physical demands of the position including working indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions, standing and walking for extended periods, and lifting/carrying items up to 50 pounds

Responsibilities

  • Deliver fast, attentive service while maintaining a strong presence on the floor and anticipating guest needs
  • Set up, maintain, and break down food outlets, ensuring all food, beverage, and presentation standards are met throughout service
  • Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with house recipes, portion standards, and responsible alcohol service guidelines
  • Take guest orders accurately and deliver food and beverages in a timely manner
  • Execute all aspects of service including serving, bartending, clearing, and resetting tables with urgency and attention to detail
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of all service areas including bars, dining spaces, service stations, and back-of-house support areas
  • Monitor product levels and proactively restock glassware, garnishes, condiments, and service supplies throughout shifts
  • Communicate clearly with kitchen and bar teams to ensure smooth and efficient service flow
  • Support opening and closing duties including side work, cleaning, stocking, and securing service areas
  • Follow all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines to maintain a safe and clean working environment
  • Uphold company standards related to appearance, uniform, and overall professionalism
  • Operate with a high level of urgency during all service periods
  • Work within a team-first environment, stepping into different roles as needed to support the operation
  • Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned
