About The Position
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Accurately process guest payments, including cash, credit cards, and house charges Verify check totals and ensure all transactions are completed correctly Provide excellent guest service and address concerns in a professional manner Follow cash-handling and accounting guidelines for cash drawer and house bank management Balance and secure the house bank at the end of each shift Maintain compliance with Point of Sale (POS) procedures and resort policies QUALIFICATIONS Guest service experience required; hospitality or food & beverage experience preferred Strong communication and interpersonal skills Basic computer proficiency, including email and internet use Basic math skills required for cash handling, making change, and balancing drawers Ability to resolve guest concerns calmly and effectively Ability to read, write, and speak English to communicate with guests and understand menus Ability to operate POS systems and cashier equipment Professional appearance and positive attitude Ability to sit and/or stand for extended periods POSITION DETAILS Position Type: Full-time, Seasonal Location: Sun Outdoors Myrtle Beach - Conway, SC Schedule: Flexible availability required, including nights, weekends, and holidays BENEFITS Paid Sick Time 401(k) with Company Match Discounted travel and resort benefits Additional team member perks available Sun Outdoors is an Equal Opportunity Employer. Requirements
