We are looking for an experienced F&B Cashier to join our team at Miccosukee Casino & Resort. Requirements

  • Must be able to communicate in English, Spanish is a plus.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Tribal Gaming License.
  • Six months of cash handling experience required.
  • Maintain physical stamina and proper mental attitude while dealing effectively with guests, management, team members, and outside contacts while working under pressure and meeting deadlines.
  • Must be able to frequently move freely about the property, withstand various activities such as frequent walking, and withstand prolonged standing, stretching, bending and kneeling without restriction.
  • Must be able to work different shifts, which may include holidays and weekends.
  • Be able to work indoors and be exposed to various environmental contaminants including smoke.
  • Ability to lift or carry a minimum of 20 pounds unassisted in the performance of specific tasks assigned.
  • Must be able to work with others, communicate well, receive direction, and provide feedback when needed to achieve department goals and objectives.
  • Must maintain a positive attitude toward work and interface with guests in a congenial and polite manner.
  • Must be able to address stressful situations with clients with dignity and the utmost tact and politeness.
  • Must be able to touch and handle supplies in a safe and non-hazardous manner, maintaining proper hygiene, cleanliness, and disposal methods.

Responsibilities

  • Interact with customers by taking their orders, making recommendations, providing them with accurate bills.
  • Ensure that all monies collected are reported and balanced before and after each shift.
  • Adhere to the Miccosukee Service Expectations and ensure team compliance.
  • Attend customers in exchanging cash, checking out customers, processing credit card and cash transactions.
  • Inform guests about the hotel's facilities.
  • Bid guests farewell by using guest’s name when known, and inviting them to come back.
  • Greet guests in a friendly, positive manner and make them feel at home.
  • Assist customers in their designated areas.
  • Count and balance cash boxes before and after each shift.
  • Provide stellar customer service to all patrons.
  • Conduct and carry themselves in a professional manner at all times and observe the Company’s standards, work requirements and rules of conduct.
  • Maintain consistent and regular attendance.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
