F-35 SIMULATOR TECHNICIAN
About The Position
The Simulator Technician reports directly to the Lead Simulator Technician and is responsible for conducting technical analysis of product implementations, modifications and enhancements to F-35 Pilot Training Devices in accordance with specific customer specifications and implementations. The Simulator Technician also: Troubleshoots technical problems and issues with the training devices Determines technical solution in accordance with product and customer specifications Recommends actions to company or customer representatives for coordinative product solution Assesses product needs in accordance with customer specifications Conducts technical training and product briefing with customers, vendors and company representatives Readies training devices for customer use and assists with mission specific preparations Acts as local on-site representative to customer's organization Maintain DoD 8570 Level IAT-II certification
Requirements
- Appropriate degree from an accredited college or equivalent experience/combined education, with professional experience and specialized training commensurate with assignment.
- Must have an active secret clearance with a completed investigation within the last 6 years
- Must be able to attain and maintain F-35 Special Access Program (SAP) access
- Must be a US citizen
- Work with and communicate well both orally and written in a team environment as this position involves significant interface with customer personnel at all levels
- Must be a self-starter and have the ability to establish and maintain a library of technical documentation
Nice To Haves
- Security Plus certificate will be REQUIRED
- Technical Report writing
- Experience with drawing/schematics reading and interpretation
- Fault Isolation and problem analysis experience at the sub-system level
- Military fighter aircraft experience
- Knowledge of CATIA & System/Software Engineering Environment (S/SEE)
- Previous Field Service FSE/REP experience
Responsibilities

- Manage and track multiple engineering and logistic support activities, providing periodic status to the customer and program management team
