The Boeing Company is looking for a F-22 Pilot Training Entry-Level SWE - Simulation to join our team in Berkeley, MO. This position will focus on supporting the Boeing Global Services (BGS) Software Engineering organization. The F-22 Vehicle Simulation Team within BGS Software Engineering is responsible for developing products directly employed in the training of our nation's fighter pilots: F-22 Pilot Training Avionics Simulation (PTAS), F-22 Advanced Simulation Toolset (FAST) supporting the Boeing Virtual Warfare Center (VWC), F-22 Deployable Training Device (DTD), and F-22 Mixed/Augmented/Virtual Reality Simulation. These simulations support the employment and training of next generation avionics and sensor systems for the F-22 Raptor. This is an exciting opportunity that will allow you to directly impact the engineering, design, and development of multiple simulators. In this role, you will design, implement, integrate, and test real-time human-in-the-loop models of aircraft systems and displays, and related tools and utilities. You will interact with users to clarify requirements and timelines; participate in technical design and peer code reviews; employ coding standards; seek guidance and mentoring from senior engineers; and develop software as part of a coordinated agile development team. All while developing technical expertise in complex aircraft systems and simulations.
