About The Position

Mission Technologies, a Division of HII is seeking a Hardware IT Project Manager to Support F-1 Mission Tactics Trainer (MTT) Simulators at Mesa, AZ as a Site Lead and Subject Matter Expert. The individual's responsibility will be to lead and direct the HII Program team located at Mesa, AZ. This Team is engaged in the technical support and maintenance of F-16 MTT simulators located in various CONUS locations. The HII team will be engaged in implementation, maintenance and modification of F-16 MTT Simulators. Prepares project execution plans and identifies appropriate technical and business resources needed for the team. Ensures projects are completed on schedule, within budget and meets technical requirements of the assignment. Keep current on advances in the field of IT, and interfaces with stakeholders to ensure requirements are met. Adheres to all IT governance polices and procedures.

Requirements

  • 6 years relevant progressive experience with Bachelors in related field; 4 years relevant progressive experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 10 years relevant progressive experience.
  • Experience in leading and managing technological teams.
  • Must have a Security+ certification or related.
  • Ability to plan, organize, and manage both project and program activities.
  • Effective written and oral communication skills.
  • Excellent time management skills.
  • Experience researching new technologies to help solve existing technical problems or shortfalls.
  • Must have an active or current DoD Secret Clearance with the ability to upgrade to SAP/SAR.

Nice To Haves

  • BS in Computer Science, MIS or similar field.
  • Experience applying Agile project management techniques.
  • Technical staff management experience in a simulator environment.
  • Experience supporting Special Access Program (SAP) efforts.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the technical support team at the Mesa, AZ site; provide guidance, management and support to all aspects of F-16 MTT IT processes to include requirements and analysis, hardware and software specifications, design, integration, testing, and deployment.
  • Responsible for all required Cybersecurity polices implementation and solution analysis.
  • Task planning to include the generation of task schedule(s), allocation of resources, and the identification and resolution of dependencies and risks.
  • Review of task performance and work products for correctness as well as adherence to established standards and user requirements.
  • Coordinate with team members both local and remote to ensure solution and user satisfaction for technical matters.
  • Monitor task progress IAW schedules/milestones, hours worked and percent complete.
  • Task reporting to include periodic status reports as required by the Government.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations to peers, subordinates, and user representatives.
  • Coordinate and lead technical meetings.
  • Advise Cybersecurity Flight Commander and contract Program Manager on technical issues.
  • Other duties as assigned.
