About The Position

Supervise and mentor a team of skilled employees to ensure efficient production and completion of the F-16V Block 70, focusing on quality, safety, and schedule adherence. - Enforce strict compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and production standards, while maintaining high levels of product quality and operational excellence. - Identify and implement process improvements to enhance production efficiency, reduce costs, and ensure timely delivery of completed aircraft. - Build strong working relationships with internal teams, the Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA), and the System Program Office to ensure production milestones are met and customer expectations are exceeded. - Manage resources such as personnel, equipment, and materials, ensuring effective production flow and resolution of any logistical challenges. - Evaluate team performance, provide constructive feedback, and implement corrective actions when necessary, while recognizing and rewarding exceptional performance. Requirements

  • Experience in Aviation Production, Maintenance, Aircraft Structure Modification, Repair or Overhaul (MMRO) Operations.
  • Experience leading a team to meet critical schedules, resolve complex and/or time sensitive technical or operational issues.
  • Experience reading and interpreting blueprints.
  • Experience interacting with internal/external customers.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.

Nice To Haves

  • Ability to multi-task, organize and prioritize assignments.
  • Structural repair, fabrication, and assembly experience.
  • A/C production experience.
  • Ability to create and utilize metrics related to performance.
  • Demonstrated ability to create, monitor and report on all executive operations metrics.
  • Experience in Lean Manufacturing or processes.
