About The Position

We are looking for an Experienced Manufacturing Engineer to join the F-15 Program Production Engineering team as the focal for campaign proposals and production modifications, with expertise in production readiness, project management, and aircraft assembly. This position demands an in-depth understanding of the current production system and build flow, as well as the ability to navigate complex cross-functional environments. The ideal candidate will be instrumental in ensuring that all key contributions to the production system are considered in decision-making processes throughout the early phases of the product lifecycle. In this role, you will be instrumental in the production planning of future F-15 products.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement
• 2+ years work-related experience with a Bachelors degree OR an equivalent combination of work-related experience and technical education.

• B.S. or higher in Aerospace, Mechanical or Industrial Engineering
• Experience supporting defense and/or aerospace customers
• Experience with aerospace production
• Experience with 2D blueprints and 3D model based instruction
• Experience with Manufacturing Execution System Common Image (MESci)
• Strong communication skills
• Experience in project management and planning within a manufacturing environment

Responsibilities

• Work collaboratively across various functions to assess the impact of decisions on the production system.
• Ensure production readiness by identifying and mitigating risks, optimizing workflows, and enhancing operational efficiency.
• Serve as the production engineering liaison for the program management team and the customer, effectively communicating and briefing them on production matters.
• Act as the primary point of contact for all Production Engineering skill codes (Manufacturing Engineers, Industrial Engineers, Liaison Engineers, Tool Engineers) and make key decisions regarding the production system for each F-15 product
• Evaluate the manufacturing readiness of program design, production systems, and supply base, integrating new technologies or capabilities with minimal impact on the build.
• Lead and oversee the development and completion of all Production Engineering artifacts and customer deliverables.
• Strategically manage the entire production system and its key inputs to ensure seamless operations and high-quality outcomes
• Conduct engineering design and producibility reviews to ensure the proposed design is capable of being produced.
