About The Position

The Extrusion department is responsible for operating and monitoring aluminum extrusion presses to produce high-quality profiles according to customer specifications.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Manufacturing or heavy equipment experience preferred
• Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability
• Ability to read measurements and blueprints
• Ability to work in high-heat industrial environments
• Lift up to 50 lbs
• Stand for long periods and perform repetitive tasks

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate extrusion press equipment
• Monitor temperature, pressure, and speed during extrusion process
• Load billets and assist with die changes
• Inspect extruded material for defects and dimensional accuracy
• Prepare extruded material for aging process
• Work closely with press crew (pullers, handlers, saw operators)
• Maintain production efficiency and minimize downtime
• Follow all safety and operational procedures
