About The Position

That’s the reality for our Extrusion–Thermoforming Production Technicians at Pactiv Evergreen in Mooresville. You’ll master multiple lines, safeguard quality, and help a sustainability-focused manufacturer deliver every day. Your impact Execute safe startups and shutdowns for extruders, thermoformers, and auxiliary/automation equipment. Own changeovers: perform color changes and job changes aligned to the production plan. Hold the standard: ensure machines run per spec; complete TPM preventive tasks; support continuous improvement projects. Protect quality: verify weight, diameter, color, and clarity; pack finished goods correctly; alert leadership to any deviation immediately. Document and communicate: complete all required paperwork accurately and on time; escalate issues following procedure; operate with minimal supervision. Be production-strong: hit or exceed line targets without compromising safety or quality; support teammates with training or assistance when needed. Stay on task: cell phone use is not permitted during production except when the line is down or during breaks. What it takes High school diploma preferred. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team; solid verbal communication and professional conflict resolution. Willingness to work overtime and off shifts. Capability to stand for 12 hours and consistently wear required PPE. Dependable, timely attendance to avoid disrupting the team and the line.
