About The Position

We are currently looking for a Manufacturing Extrusion Technician. Reporting to
the manufacturing shift lead, you will be responsible for the extrusion of
quality polyethylene products through extrusion line set-up, start-up, operation
and take down in accordance with Atkore policies and procedures. You will be
committed to teamwork, continuous improvement, safety, quality, and delivery.

Requirements

• Safety Awareness: Understanding and adhering to safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues.
• High school diploma or equivalent (GED) Preferred.
• 2 years of experience in a production environment.
• Proficiency in English (speaking, reading, writing).

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with shift leader to plan and ensure efficient work completion.
• Follow all safety requirements and company guidelines.
• Complete extrusion line changeovers within designated timeframes.
• Maintain extrusion tooling quality and organization.
• Set up and change print lines to meet order requirements.
• Perform quality checks and documentation per ASTM standards.
• Adjust product specifications to ensure quality.
• Complete paperwork for accurate inventory information.
• Maintain organization and cleanliness of work area.
• Assist other technicians in start-ups as needed.
• Work effectively with diverse individuals.
• Identify and report problems; utilize resources to solve issues.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
