Requirements

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Good oral and written communication skills.
• Available for overtime.
• Must have mechanical aptitude.
• Available to train on different machinery and different lines.
• Forklift Operator Certification.
• Ensure consistent, dependable attendance and demonstrate a willingness to accommodate non-standard work hours as necessary.
• Capable of effectively managing job-related stress and fostering productive workplace interactions

Responsibilities

• Safety, must comply with all written and verbal safety rules that apply for the plant and department. Must be willing and able to wear all personal protective equipment.
• Maintain good housekeeping.
• Must show the ability to learn how to lace-up equipment.
• Must show the ability to learn all future tasks of the job, and show continuous improvement throughout training process.
• Must be able to name and use standard hand tools.
• Must show the ability to do basic math such as adding, dividing, subtraction, percentages, etc.
• Must be able to read a tape measure down to 1/16”
• Must be able to locate all E-stops on the machine in which they are being trained on, and must know how to activate the E-stops.
• Must be able to perform all daily task of data entry in the IBS Production System.
