About The Position

The Extrusion Supervisor plays a key role in supporting the Extrusion department’s daily operations by leading a frontline team to meet safety, quality, production, and efficiency goals. This position focuses on hands-on supervision, coaching, and problem-solving to ensure smooth workflow and adherence to standards. Requirements

  • Technical background, ideally with a degree or certification in Mechanical, Chemical, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in manufacturing, preferably in extrusion or converting operations.
  • Proven experience leading or supervising frontline teams in a production environment.
  • Strong understanding of safety, quality, and production standards.
  • Problem-solving skills and ability to act quickly in operational situations.
  • Good communication skills for effective team leadership and cross-department collaboration.
  • Basic knowledge of inventory and material handling preferred.
  • Familiarity with SAP, Microsoft Office, or production monitoring tools is a plus.
  • Commitment to continuous learning and operational excellence.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise the extrusion operators and technicians, providing day-to-day guidance and support.
  • Ensure all safety, quality, environmental, and production procedures are strictly followed.
  • Monitor production targets, KPIs, and schedules to maintain operational efficiency.
  • Identify and resolve operational issues quickly, escalating to management when necessary.
  • Assist in root cause analysis and implementation of corrective actions.
  • Support inventory management of LDPE and specialty resins in coordination with the manager.
  • Foster a positive team environment that encourages professional development and engagement.
  • Collaborate with maintenance and quality teams to ensure equipment reliability and product standards.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and promote best practices on the floor.
  • Perform other tasks as assigned to support department goals.
