We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Extrusion Specialist to join our team. This role will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining plastic extrusion equipment to produce hose and tubing products to precise specifications. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in extrusion processes, solid mechanical aptitude, and a commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent (required)
  • 3–5 years of hands-on experience in plastic or rubber extrusion (required)
  • Strong understanding of extrusion principles, materials, and machinery (required)
  • Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills (required)
  • Ability to read and interpret technical documents, blueprints, and measurement tools (required)
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality (required)
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment (required)

Nice To Haves

  • Flexibility to work overtime or alternate shifts as needed (preferred)

Responsibilities

  • Set up and operate extrusion machinery in accordance with production schedules and product specifications
  • Monitor product quality and adjust machine settings to ensure consistency and dimensional accuracy
  • Troubleshoot equipment issues and perform routine maintenance to minimize downtime
  • Read and interpret technical specifications and production work orders
  • Inspect finished products for defects and verify measurements using appropriate tools
  • Maintain accurate records of production output, material usage, and machine performance
  • Collaborate with supervisors and quality control teams to resolve production issues and optimize efficiency
  • Follow all safety protocols and ensure a clean, organized work environment
