Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED preferred, but not required.
  • Ability to lift, push, and carry up to 35 lbs.
  • Forklift operation experience preferred; training may be provided.
  • Prior experience with extrusion equipment is a plus.
  • Basic troubleshooting skills, especially with extrusion equipment, are beneficial.
  • Mechanical aptitude and interest in hands-on work.
  • Experience working collaboratively in team-oriented environments is valued.
  • Familiarity with extrusion or converting equipment and processes is helpful.
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing setting is preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Set up, operate, and adjust equipment to produce high-quality products efficiently and safely.
  • Lead daily production activities on assigned lines.
  • Support and train Machine Line Operators (MLOs).
  • Help troubleshoot equipment to minimize downtime.
  • Work closely with a dedicated team in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
  • Navigate JDE to read/view production schedules, blends, and BOM's.
  • Safely and efficiently start and stop extruders, upstream and downstream equipment.
  • Safely and efficiently maintain and run up to 3 lines.
  • Perform and document all required quality checks.
  • Communicate efficiently with leadership at all times.
  • Relieve fellow team members as needed and instructed.
  • Complete any other task as assigned by leadership.
