JOB DESCRIPTION: The 2nd Shift Extrusion Quality Technician will be responsible for professionally supporting all aspects of Quality Control and Assurance for the Extrusion function.

Requirements

  • Minimum 1-2 years experience in a medical device manufacturing environment
  • Competent experience with MS-Office (Word, Excel, Power Point, etc.)
  • Competency with handheld dimensional inspection equipment
  • Competency performing Final Inspection of Extrusion Components
  • Must be able to follow written instructions and procedures
  • Must be self-motivated with a willingness to learn
  • Must possess good organizational skills
  • Must possess good verbal and written communication skills

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with operating automated vision system or programing is a plus (Mainly for OGP) preferred

Responsibilities

  • Extrusion Inspection Technician will be responsible for inspecting product to the specifications on a drawing.
  • Technician must be open to flexing into the following areas: Receiving Inspection and verification, Final Product Inspection and Batch Release certifications, Internal Audits, equipment support, and Quality Documentation and Records activities.
  • Technician must show initiative taking on and completing projects including other assignments as requested
  • Support the management team, production associates, and external vendors to ensure established product requirements are met.
  • Help to ensure production and R&D schedules are met through following priorities and completing inspections.
  • Support the established QMS/QA processes and as needed working with internal resources to recommend change to maintain high quality processes.
  • Technician will be responsible for communicating issues found to the appropriate internal parties.
  • Perform other related duties and responsibilities as required or assigned
