About The Position

EXTRUSION SUPERVISOR
The extrusion supervisor will be responsible for adhering to an extrusion schedule that is efficient and meets rates daily.  This supervisor will train and develop extrusion staff in the window manufacturing process and enforce Company policies and procedures regarding safety and Company rules. This position reports to the extrusion manager/plant manager and will communicate daily with extrusion staff, production staff, quality control, shipping, sales, customer service and service.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years' experience working hands-on in an extrusion environment
• Experienced in training and directing personnel
• Must be able to work with all levels of management and staff
• Have good analytical skills
• Be pro-active in problem solving

Responsibilities

• Maintain good housekeeping on the line
• Control scrap vinyl from production at a rate of 6% or lower
• Must be an effective communicator with all team members
• Must keep production schedule on time with no open orders
• Motivate production team to ensure goals are met
