About The Position

We’re looking for a detail‑oriented, safety‑focused Extrusion Press Operator to run and maintain our extrusion press equipment. If you enjoy hands‑on work, problem‑solving, and working in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment, this role offers a strong opportunity to grow your technical skills.

Requirements

• Read and interpret tape measures, protractors, calipers, and micrometers.
• Apply basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division) in daily tasks.
• Use computers for data entry, documentation, and production tracking.
• Follow written and verbal instructions with strong attention to detail.
• Understand manufacturing processes and production operations.
• The position requires the ability to team-lift, load and carry items weighing up to 150 pounds.
• All offers of employment are contingent upon successful completion of a pre-employment physical and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Operate the extrusion press safely and efficiently to achieve optimal output and quality.
• Determine the best die‑run order and adjust press settings based on industry standards.
• Troubleshoot die and press issues to improve efficiency and reduce scrap.
• Inspect production samples to ensure they meet customer specifications.
• Perform operator‑level maintenance and ensure proper press loading to prevent downtime.
• Communicate effectively with coworkers across all shifts to support smooth operations.
• Cross‑train in related areas (Head Stretch, Saw Operation, Production Support, Material Handling).
• Work independently or as part of a team to meet production goals.
• Perform repetitive, heavy lifting as part of daily responsibilities.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area.
