About The Position

We are a growing manufacturing company specializing in high-quality plastic films used in flexible packaging, including food-grade applications. We are seeking experienced Extrusion Operators with blown film experience to support our production team.
Candidates with experience from similar plastics and flexible packaging environments are strongly encouraged to apply.
As an Extrusion Operator, you will be responsible for safely operating and monitoring blown film extrusion lines to ensure efficient production, consistent quality, and adherence to all safety standards.

Requirements

• Prior experience in extrusion or blown film manufacturing REQUIRED
• Experience operating or assisting with extrusion lines or similar plastics processing equipment
• Basic math and measurement skills (micrometer, tape measure, scales)
• Ability to read and document production data
• Strong attention to detail and quality
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
• Ability to work 12-hour shifts and stand for extended periods
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs

Nice To Haves

• Background in flexible packaging or film production preferred

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor blown film extrusion equipment
• Perform machine start-ups, shutdowns, and changeovers
• Monitor film quality, thickness, and output to meet specifications
• Conduct quality checks and record production data accurately
• Troubleshoot minor process and equipment issues
• Ensure proper material blends and machine setup
• Maintain clean and organized work areas
• Follow all safety protocols and wear required PPE
• Communicate production issues and updates to supervisors
