About The Position

SPR Packaging, LLC founded in 2006 by a team of experienced flexible packaging managers and associates in order to fill a niche in the market for customer oriented manufacturing and service. We are a growing company looking for talented personnel with the passion to learn the needed skills to become an asset for our company. Extrusion Operator Assistant Day shift 5:45am-5:45pm 3 days one week and 4 days the next, rotating Saturday's Night shift 5:45pm-5:45am 3 days one week and 4 days the next, rotating Saturday's

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Basic computer skills
• Ability to do basic math
• Ability to read tape measure
• Able to read a tape measure
• Able to lift 50 lbs.
• Able to go up multiple line ladders, reaching up to 60 feet high.
• Able to work in a non-climate-controlled environment

Responsibilities

• Cycle and unload winders
• Weigh/stage production
• Remove unused materials
• Request new materials
• Create finished good labels
• Drive a sit-down forklift, once certified by SPR Packaging to relocate rolls.
• Wrap pallets
• Basic housekeeping, including but not limited to keeping machines clean
