Extrusion Maintenance Trainee
About The Position
The Extrusion Maintenance Trainee must assist maintenance and electrical personnel as they perform their regular job duties. Essential Duties & Responsibilities: To learn the BCF extrusion process including all mechanical and technical systems and processes. To learn the electrical systems and processes involved in the fiber extrusion process. Schedule may vary due to training needs, demands within the department or special projects as assigned by management. Ability to work other shifts for extended periods as determined by training needs and schedule. Follow all plant and Extrusion safety rules.
Requirements
- Lifting, reaching, standing, stooping, and bending is required throughout the shift
- Must be able to lift 150 lbs
- Must be able to use scissors, a wrap stick, wrenches, and other hand tools
- Must be able to distinguish colors and shades
- Overtime required with little or no advance notice
Nice To Haves
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Previous Extrusion experience preferred
- Previous maintenance experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Assist maintenance and electrical personnel

- Follow all plant and Extrusion safety rules
- Report all accidents immediately
- Perform other duties as assigned
