Requirements

  • Associates degree in related field, or equivalent related experience.
  • 3-7 years' maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Knowledge of and experience with Lock-Out, Tag-Out procedures.
  • Able to strictly adhere to safety policies/procedures and be committed to customer quality.
  • Must be available for regular standby assignments; work scheduled off-hours and emergency overtime as required.
  • Proficient in Word and Excel.
  • Must be willing to attend training sessions as needed, including out of state locations.
  • Ability to assist in Training Level I and II Technicians.
  • Intermediate knowledge of fabrication (ex. welding, basic machining).
  • Possess strong work ethic and knowledge of intermediate troubleshooting.
  • Able to read printed materials, blueprints, schematics, and computer graphics.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and within a team, including the ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with employees, vendors, contractors, and suppliers.
  • Ability to show attention to detail in a very fast paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Support manufacturing operations, adjusting and repairing equipment as needed.
  • Track usage of and order replacement parts.
  • Diagnose and repair complex electro-mechanical problems with manufacturing equipment.
  • Perform detailed setup on equipment including recipe changes and control adjustments.
  • Repair and keep mechanical machine components in top operating condition.
  • Diagnose and repair electrical control circuits, field devices, sensors, photo eyes, etc.
  • Troubleshoot the inputs and outputs on PLC and repair issues.
  • Complete projects to add electrical circuits and controls, new equipment and relocate machines.
  • Maintain and repair pneumatic systems including repairs of cylinders and other components.
  • Perform simple to complex mechanical Preventative Maintenance Tasks following instructions.
  • Enter all work completed in computer-based maintenance program.
  • Monitor and report spare parts usage including completing parts order forms.
  • Adjust equipment based on Statistical Process Control data and team with QA.
  • Train Level I and II technicians in more complex tasks and skills.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
