Requirements

• The ability to conceptualize and communicate training curriculum to Extrusion Coating Operator, Extrusion Coating Crew Assistant and others as needed.
• Knowledge of machine operating fundamentals required.
• Basic math skills required.
• Basic computer skills required.
• Effective communication skills required.
• The ability to read and comprehend Process Drawing Number (PDN).

Responsibilities

• Perform various production and service tasks on all work centers related to the set-up and operation of the coating line, following written procedures and instructions.
• Provide leadership and direction for all machine crew members when operating the line through effective communication.
• Perform and document all the necessary testing of both raw materials and finished products using established company test methods.
• Make quality-related decisions utilizing product specification testing, including defective material identification and flagging for the next operation.
• Make time and quantity entries into the computer system.
• Provide necessary communication at shift change.
• Perform all necessary preventative maintenance as required.
• Perform all necessary housekeeping as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
