About The Position

The position is for an Extrusion Operator at Cornerstone Building Brands. The role involves visually inspecting extruded products for consistent appearance and length according to defined standards. The operator is responsible for ensuring product consistency, maintaining paperwork, performing online quality inspections, and operating packaging equipment. The job requires standing and working on your feet for 12-hour shifts, and the work schedule follows a 2-2-3 pattern. The base pay is $16 per hour, with an additional $2.50 per hour shift differential for night shifts.

Requirements

• Must be able to read a tape measure.
• Related machine operation experience preferred.
• Ability to stand and work on your feet for 12-hour shifts, and bend and lift.
• Basic math skills.
• Ability to read English and quality test product.
• Must be able to read a tape measure to the 16th of an inch.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work independently and within a team environment to meet goals and quality standards.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Ability to understand and follow safety policies.
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check.

• Manufacturing and extrusion experience highly preferred.
