About The Position

POSITION SUMMARY: Responsible for day to day Process Tech machine operator duties. Additionally, has the responsibility to train new associates and assist with higher level technical activities. RESPONSIBILITIES: Monitor regrind usage and returns. Verify blenders are set properly and adjusted as needed. Manage surge bins, keep them full if regrind inventory allows. Responsible for reporting food safety issues to personnel with authority to initiate action. Complete color changes on all three lines from start to finish. Assist maintenance with troubleshooting tasks and minor repairs. Fill in for line operator vacancies or breaks as needed. Assist in PM’s as needed. Assist in mold and line changeovers as needed. Complete assigned Find and Fix it tasks as needed. Assist in the HDPE New Hire training program. All other duties as assigned. REQUIREMENTS: Team oriented. Self motivation and flexibility of job assignments. Blend of technical, interpersonal skills, and continuous learning through training. Previous Experience in Plastics Technology, Electrical, Electronics, Electro-Mechanical or a similar technical area preferred. Background manufacturing experience will be considered. High school diploma or GED Works overtime as necessary, based on production needs/demands. Read SPC charts and document trends ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Regularly stand or sit for long periods of time, up to 12 hours at a time. Walking intermittently and long distances, up to 8 hours per day. Able to lift up to 50 pounds regularly. Ability to visually examine minute defects in parts and product. Able to work on aerial platforms up to 20 ft. Requirements

  • Team oriented.
