Visit us at packaging.toppan.com Summary Description: Reporting to the Supervisor, the Extruder Helper supports the efficient, safe, and uninterrupted operation of extrusion equipment within a fast‑paced manufacturing environment. This role requires strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and a commitment to TOPPAN’s culture of safety, quality, productivity, and teamwork.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to adhere to strict PPE requirements, including wearing face shields, earmuffs, gloves, and steel‑toe shoes.
• Ability to work 12‑hour shifts while standing and walking for extended periods.
• Ability to climb, lift, and carry products weighing up to 50 lbs.

Nice To Haves

• Forklift and clamp truck experience is preferred; certification will be provided onsite.

Responsibilities

• Assist machine operators with the safe and continuous operation of extrusion equipment.
• Perform light maintenance and preventive maintenance activities, including daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning tasks.
• Use standard hand tools with competence and mechanical understanding.
• Communicate effectively with operators, team members, and leadership.
• Read and interpret equipment manuals, diagrams, safety postings, bulletin boards, and computer screens.
