About The Position

Extraction Technician Job Purpose: The Extraction Technician is an established position within a high volume regulated Medical and Adult-use licensed Manufacturer of Infused Products. The Extractor is responsible performing extractions as well as other miscellaneous duties whilst working compliantly within state and federal regulatory frameworks. Job Duties and Responsibilities: Perform Extractions on various types of cannabis Biomass. Maintain and clean Extraction Equipment and let Lead Extractor or Manager of Extraction know of any issues or damages to equipment. Work with Lead Extractor Equipment to help improve processes as well as identify any potential bottle necks on te production floor. Whip waxes and budders and needed. Transfill solvents such as butane and propane as needed. Keep extraction Room clean (ie. walls, surfaces, floors, etc.) Help lead Extractor maintain necessary supplies for the extraction process. Working Conditions: Production floor environment Must wear required PPE, including mask, hairnet and lab coat when on production floor. Requires lifting of 50+ lb Supervision Received: Lead extractor

Requirements

• Must be 21+
• Must have reliable transportation
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Capabilities with computer systems, software and hardware common to manufacturing facilities
• Possess a valid and current MED Badge
• Excellent attention to detail
• Sound organizational proficiencies
• Ability to conduct oneself in a professional and ethical manner
• Critical time management
• Ability to identify and effectively prioritize actions and requirements.
• Knowledge of extraction and refinement processes
• Ability to stand for long periods of time as required
• Manual dexterity sufficient to reach/handle items, work with fingers, type.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Work evenings as required during Covid outbreak schedule or when adding new shifts
• Experience with using hand tools such as wrenches
• 1 year Industry Experience
• 1 year Hydrocarbon extraction.
• HS Diploma or equivalent

Nice To Haves

• Short path Distillation experience a plus.
• BS in Chemistry or related field
