About The Position
The Upstate Caring Partners summer externship offers undergraduate students a unique opportunity to explore careers in the field of intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD). This externship provides hands-on experience in various programs, including school-age, adult, and preschool settings, focusing on applied behavior analysis, psychology, social work, medicine, teaching, and therapy. Externs will engage in professional skill development, research, and networking, culminating in a presentation of their findings at the end of the program.
